Arrival

Two well-preserved and freely accessible trenches with caverns can be reached from the centre of village in a short hike:

• The Trenches at the Holy Sepulchre Hill are located a few steps from the village center on the upstream hill, which is visible from afar and offers a wonderful view in all directions. The path that turns left between the first house at the village entrance and the ‘Teiser Hof’ hotel is signposted.
• The Trenches at the Wetterkreuz, which overlooks the village, can be reached in about 10 minutes ascent from the village center. The path branches off above the church and is signposted.
