The Teis Trenches Working Group was founded in spring 2015 on the initiative of the SVP Local Committee and tourism professionals with the aim of: to investigate the construction of the trenches more closely and to make the findings accessible to the population. The existing remains were also to be raised and important structural objects conserved.

Merger with the Holy Sepulchre Hill Committee

In March 2018, the working group Schützengräben will join forces with the Heilig-Grab-Hügel-Committee, as the objectives of the two groups are now almost identical: Both are committed to the preservation of the trenches in Teis and to informing the population about their history. Some members are also active in both groups.
The newly formed group will be chaired by Armin Radmüller, the cashier will be Egon Huber and the secretary will be Margit Wieser.

Volunteers

It is worth mentioning the support that the working group receives from local volunteers. Many helping hands have contributed to the fact that the trenches have become a real sight over the past few years.
